FAQ's

General Questions

A: Paying your tuition ( which can b customized based upon your pay schedule) on time and consistently will grant you eligibility to 10 hours of care that include but are not limited to Nutritious Meals, age-appropriate social interactions amongst staff, and peers. Fun and interactive school events and trips, inside and off location from the center. 

 

A: We accept children ages 3-5years of age.

A: Yes. we provide both full-time and part-time care for students, which can be customized by the number of days per week or hours.

Registration

A: Once we have received your contact info we will set up an enrollment tour date and time for you to visit our facility. If space is available an intake interview will be scheduled as well, during the interview, we will sit down and go over policies and procedures, etc to ensure that your family and our facility is a great match. During the interview, the enrollment application will be reviewed to ensure you are informed and agree to the operation of our facility. 

A: Please be prepared to spend 1 hour or longer as it takes time to discuss all needed information and review paperwork.

Comforting Care

A: No, outside toys are not allowed in our facility, Unless it’s a part of a lesson planned specialty. We have a variety of comforting toys to soothe or calm your child during times when they feel unhappy.

A: We have a designated calm down corner that will be offered to your child during times when they are upset or want to be alone. Their teacher will never force your child to go to this area as punishment. However, all students will know where the calm down corner is located in their classroom and what it is used for. If the child requests the teacher to come that the designated area for extra comfort or support their request will be acknowledged and granted. Many resources will be available to teach and educate students about their social emotional skills and how to cope with their feelings.

A: Yes, each child will be assigned a cubby labeled with their name to hang their coat or jacket on following a completed enrollment process. Only items (change of clothes, mask, ect.) that can fit in a large clear freezer ziplock bag will remain at the center each day. We do NOT allow bookbags or bags from home to stay in our facility. 

Safety and Security

A: Our center has implemented stringent security measures to protect against unauthorized access to classroom cameras. All of our webcam systems use encryption to protect usernames and passwords. Only staff have access to our surveillance systems to protect the privacy of all persons in our facility. However, upon request, a specific timestamp of footage will be provided to enrolled parents for their viewing. 

A: Yes, a staff member will be supervising your child at ALL times, even while napping, eating, and using the bathroom. The safety of our students is our highest priority.

A: 24/7 video surveillance, keypad entry into our facility, properly functioning and inspected fire detectors, alarms, and extinguishers. Students and Staff will practice what to do in case a fire or other emergency occurs monthly to ensure proper evacuation and procedure.

Health

A: No, we do not allow any student to attend while they’re sick and or not feeling well. We want your child to be healthy while at our facility. Any illness or symptoms that your child may be presenting that they don’t feel well will result in a cal home or a denial of service until they are symptom/ illness free without the aid of medication for 24hours, as this helps keep other children as well as the staff healthy. 

A: Our toys, equipment, classrooms, bathrooms offices, and other common meeting areas in our facility are disinfected and sanitized multiple times throughout each day, using state regulated disinfectant and sanitizing products. 

A: We adhere to the Pennsylvania Department of Public Health stautes of being inspected annually. Our staff also routinely inspects equipment and supplies for use of children while at our child care center.

Payments

A: Yes, we are committed to making childcare accessible to everyone, we accept the Pennslyvania Department of Health-Child Care Works Program.

A: We accept most major credit cards for payments. Continuing tuition payments are processed through the Brightwheel App. We do NOT accept checks, money orders, or cash for payments.

A: Tuition rates vary according to the hours of care you require. We encourage all prospective parents to come in and tour our facility, or provide us with your contact information so that we can send you an email with our rates and other information.
